Service Project

Tonight we got with a Brownie Troop and make baby blankies for Birth Right. We have 3 cadets working on their Silver award and they chose Birth Right a non profit who provides help to unwed mothers in need. Our girls did a great job guiding the younger girls and the younger girls had a great time. We especially hope that the 14 blankets we made are loved!

Let's Get Cooking!

Woo Hoo! We had some fun, we had some laughs and made us some pretty good food! We learned about germs, how to stay clean, how to clean our cooking area, how to read ingredients, how to read directions, a little blender magic making fake Orange Julices, and microwave skills making Marshmallow Popcorn. Then, the best part.. half of us made Ziti Pepperoni Casserole and the other half made Shepard's Pie. These meals for our families went well.. a little miss-hap with lack of can openers and beef broth.. oh and milk.. but otherwise it was a great meeting!

November Service Unit Meeting

We just got back from the November Service Unit meeting. Here are things that effect our troop.
Ogden Christmas Parade will be Sat. Nov 25th about 5 pm. Girls who want to participate will need to get the form filled out at our next meeting we will give the rest of the information at that time.
We also have our Service Unit Project for Safe Harbor on Dec 7, forms were handed out last meeting, there is also a link on this page if needed again.
Our Cookie Kick off party will be Jan 6, forms will be handed out at the next meeting.
The coolest part of all is we had a Service Auction, Laura and Kim put all their points together and won a 2 night camping trip planned and ran by Joelle for July or August. We are going to make the best of this! We can look forward to two great camps this summer!

Some of our fun

The bottom photo is our August outing to the Clearfield Aquatic Center, this photo made it into the fall 2006 Trooper (see side bar for link). We earned our swimming badge and had a great time in the process! The top photo is from October outing to the Pumkinaze in Roy. We had a great time winding around and getting lost, but I think the most fun was had on the big slide!
